Fly Tyers Weekend

Not too long ago, I got an email from a man named Byron Begley. Byron is part owner of a very successful East Tennessee fly shop called Little River Outfitters. This place does it all from schools to guide trips to mail online shopping. Their whole vibe makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the larger than average fly shop. Byron’s email was in reference to an event in early November called the Fly Tyers Weekend. It’s a packed weekend venue filled with a total of 40 tyers. The best part is admission is free! It was a no-brainer for me. I wanted Dead Drift Outfitters to be part of this. It’s sure to be a great opportunity for people to learn from accomplished tyers without having to pay a dime. Free knowledge. That’s never a bad thing. So, if by chance you’re going to be in beautiful East Tennessee this weekend, stop on by. I’ll be there, no doubt learning from some of the others.
